Cheese making course

From raw milk to fresh cheese, homemade of course. With a few liters of raw milk, the right recipe and carefully selected ingredients, you can get started at Almwirtshaus AINKEHR. The cheese snack is included and you take home about 1 kg of homemade cheese. Info: is only offered in summer.

Quad riding

With 25 km/h, budding "rally drivers" whiz around the 450 m long quad course and put their skills to the test. (* Reduction with the Katschberg Card). An unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Brewery tours

In summer, brewery tours take place Monday and Friday by appointment in Austria's highest brewery in the Stamperl. Christoph will introduce you to the world of the art of brewing. Including beer tasting and snack.  A "Beery" leisure experience for an unforgettable vacation on the Katschberg.

Katsch­hausen

The adventure playground Katschhausen is a real highlight. A natural playground with everything a child's heart desires and lots of interactive play opportunities to discover.

Summer toboggan run

Is there anything more beautiful than feeling the wind in your hair on a speedy ride in hot temperatures? A lap on the summer toboggan run is therefore the must-do activity on the Katschberg in summer.

Whether casually along the blue course or daringly tackle the course "Extreme" - in the climbing park on the Katschberg there is just the right challenge for every age group and for every level of difficulty.

Pony farm

"The happiness of the earth lies on the back of horses." After a short hike to the Gon Valley, the Ponyalm at the Pritzhütte is already eagerly waiting for all pony fans. Here the ponies can be stroked, groomed and even ridden a little round - So nothing like there!

The Cage

For the necessary adrenaline kick or a great bad weather program provides the indoor sports hall THE CAGE. The sports hall can be found right next to the Mountain Budget Hotel BASEKAMP and it offers a climbing wall, a trampoline, a jump bag and much more. The indoor sports hall is open daily, except Monday and Wednesday, from 12:00 - 16:00.

Segway

On your wheels, get set, go! How about discovering the Katschberg on two zippy wheels for once? With the Segways this becomes possible. After registration at the Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo you can cruise casually and with a lot of fun the mountain landscape. (*20% discount with the Lungau Card)

Archery

Treasure hunt

For all Sherlocks there is a special kind of treasure hunt on the Katschberg. The geocaching starting point is at the Aineck, which you can easily reach with the Aineckbahn. With the help of a GPS device, all treasure chests can be explored and opened during a fun scavenger hunt.
